Introduction:
Hello and howdy. My name is John Horn and I am a PHD candidate at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln Department of Geosciences. Here are a few facts about me:
- I was born and raised in Danville, Arkansas
- I got my B.S. in Geology from Arkansas Tech
- I got my M.S. in eology and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville
- I have been attending UNL since spring of 2006
- My father (picture on the right) is actually a very sophisticated and intellegent human being (plus he is amazed by fire and is attracted to shiny objects)

Geological Interests:
I have always been intersted in the geology of the front range of the Ouachita Mountains, which is convenient, being where I am from and all. The following are a few pictures of my home, Dutch Creek Valley, and of Magazine Mounatin, the tallest mountain in the state, that I took from opposite sides of Flood Mountain:
