About Me

I am a first year graduate student here in the Department of Geosciences. I arrived here in January 2009 after graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Atmospheric Science in 2008. I am a T/A for two classes here in the department, METR 140 (Severe and Unusual Weather) and METR 400 (Weather Discussion)

Research

I am working with Dr. Jun Wang on analyzing the variability of winds harvestable for energy consumption. I plan to graduate in December 2010.

Interests

When I have free time, I enjoy college football, storm chasing, hiking, hanging out, sharpshooting, music, and attending Dave Matthews shows.
