Aaron I. Shultis, PhD Student

My interests include isotope geochemistry, stratigraphy, carbonate petrology and paleoclimatology as it relates to paleoenvironmental and paleoecological change.

I am curently a student of Drs. Frank and Fielding. I also work at the Water Sciences Laboratory on east campus where I analyze stable isotopes(H, C, N, O, and S) as they relate to the study of water.

I received a BS in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Go Panthers). I then earned a MS in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers) before taking a job at the Water Sciences Lab.

Recent pulications:
Johnson CM, Bell K, Beard BL, Shultis AI, 2009. Iron isotope compositions of carbonatites record melt generation, crystallization, and late-stage volitile-transport processes. Mineralogy and Petrology, EXCEPTED IN PRESS
